Who it fits

AMAMIA Tub Key Specs Explained

Length: 51.2 inches

This length provides ample room for your legs to stretch out fully. You can accommodate heights up to 170 cm comfortably. The extended space allows for a natural, reclined posture during your soak. It is suitable for most adults seeking deep immersion. This dimension ensures you are not cramped, offering a relaxing experience similar to a standard home tub.

Height: 21.7 inches

This water depth supports full-body immersion for most users. You can submerge your shoulders and back for effective muscle relaxation. The depth helps retain heat more efficiently than shallow tubs. It is ideal for hot baths or ice baths. Check your leg length to ensure the water covers your key areas for maximum therapeutic benefit.

Width: 23.6 inches

This width offers a balanced interior space for sitting. It is wide enough to feel secure but compact enough for smaller bathrooms. The design includes ergonomic features to support your body. You can rest your arms comfortably on the sides. This dimension makes it a practical choice for apartments or tight spaces where floor area is limited.

Weight: 22 pounds

This weight makes the tub portable and easy to move. You can fold it and store it in corners or under beds. The lightweight design is convenient for camping or travel. It does not require heavy lifting for setup or takedown. This feature is essential if you need a flexible bathing solution that does not permanently occupy floor space.

Type: Freestanding

This type does not require plumbing connections or built-in installation. You can place it anywhere with a flat, level surface. Fill it manually with water from a bucket or hose. This offers maximum flexibility for renters or those with limited bathroom access. You can move it outdoors or to different rooms as needed.

Design and Build Quality

The AMAMIA 51" Foldable Portable Soaking Tub is constructed from thickened material. According to the listing, this build provides durability for full-body immersion. The tub weighs 22 pounds, which makes it manageable for most users to move. You can place it in corners, beside washing machines, or under beds when folded. The folded thickness is only 20 cm, saving significant space. This compact storage profile suits small bathrooms or camping trips.

The layout includes ergonomic features for comfort. Massage wheels are integrated into the design to enhance the bathing experience. Hollow hand holes are provided on the sides. These cutouts allow you to rest your arms or hold a phone while soaking. The tub also comes with a thermal cover. This cover provides 360-degree insulation, helping to maintain water temperature during your soak. You can use it for hot baths in winter or ice baths in summer.

Drainage is handled through a double system. There are outlets at both the side and the bottom. You must ensure the water stoppers are installed correctly before filling the tub. This prevents leakage during use. The listing notes a load capacity of 100 kg. This supports adults and older children comfortably. The design prioritizes space efficiency and thermal retention for portable soaking.

Setup And Daily Use Guide

Setting up the AMAMIA 51" Foldable Portable Soaking Tub is straightforward. The unit arrives folded, measuring only 20 cm in thickness. This compact form allows you to store it in tight spaces, such as beside a washing machine, in a bathroom corner, or under a bed. You can also take it for camping due to its portable nature. To begin use, simply unfold the tub and place it on a flat, stable surface. The listing recommends a maximum load of 100 kg, ensuring stability for most adults. You can accommodate heights up to 170 cm while stretching your legs out. The tub features a double drainage system with both side and bottom outlets. Before filling, you must ensure the water stoppers are installed correctly to prevent leaks during your soak. Daily use involves filling the tub with water. The included thermal cover provides 360-degree insulation, helping to maintain water temperature. You can use this setup for hot baths in winter or ice baths in summer. The design includes hollow hand holes at both ends, allowing you to hold a phone or other items securely while relaxing. One section of the cover also serves as a shelf for toiletries. The massage wheel design adds comfort during immersion. After use, you drain the water through the designated outlets. Once empty, you can fold the tub back down for storage. This process keeps your living area clutter-free. The thickened material supports repeated folding and unfolding without compromising structure. You can choose from various sizes, including 130 cm, 140 cm, and 115 cm options, to fit your specific space constraints.

Before You Buy This Tub

Owning the AMAMIA 51" Foldable Portable Soaking Tub requires some preparation. You must ensure your floor can support the weight of the water and your body. The listing states a load capacity of 100 kg, which is substantial. You should verify that your bathroom or camping site has a nearby water source for filling and a drain for emptying. The double drainage design uses side and bottom outlets, so you need compatible hoses or plugs to manage the water flow efficiently. Keep the insulation cover clean to maintain heat retention during your soak. Unlike permanent soaking tubs, this unit requires folding and unfolding. Store it in a dry place to preserve the thickened material. This portable option fits well if you lack space for a fixed tub. It serves as a practical alternative for small apartments or travel. Check the size variations, such as 130 cm or 140 cm, to ensure it fits your room. The blue color options are available if you prefer a specific look. Always check the water stoppers before each use to prevent leaks.
