Who SIMBASHOPPING Bathtubs Suit
SIMBASHOPPING targets specific spatial and functional needs. The range spans from a compact 59-inch combo unit to a spacious 71-inch double soaker. All listed models are white acrylic whirlpool tubs. You will find options for tight spaces with walk-in access, as well as units designed for couples requiring dual pumps and extensive jet coverage. The brand focuses on hydrotherapy features like heating and multiple jets. None of the current picks offer non-whirlpool soaking, different color finishes, or freestanding designs. If you need a standalone tub or a different aesthetic, this brand’s current lineup does not provide those choices. Stick to their whirlpool focus for spa-like experiences.
How to Choose the Right One
-
Check Your Bathroom Dimensions
Measure your space carefully before selecting a tub. The SIMBASHOPPING 71" Double Whirlpool Tub requires a length of 71 inches and a width of 36 inches. This large footprint demands ample floor space. In contrast, the MONTECARLO 59" Combo Tub fits into a 59.1-inch square area. Ensure you have clearance for doorways and hallways. The 71" model weighs 220 pounds, so verify your floor can support the load. Accurate measurements prevent installation failures and ensure the tub fits your layout.
-
Select the Correct Capacity
Decide if you need a single or double-soaking experience. The 71" Double Whirlpool Tub is designed for two people, offering a spacious interior for couples. This model features a dual pump system for intense hydrotherapy. If you prefer solo soaks or have limited space, consider the 36.5" Walk-in Whirlpool. It is lighter at 132 pounds and suits smaller bathrooms. Your choice depends on how many users will share the tub regularly and your available square footage.
-
Evaluate Access Requirements
Consider how you will enter and exit the tub. The 36.5" Walk-in Whirlpool features a walk-in door, which is ideal for users with mobility challenges or those who prefer step-in convenience. This model is best for small bathrooms where traditional over-the-side entry is difficult. The other models are standard alcove or freestanding designs requiring step-over access. Choose the walk-in option if ease of entry is a priority for you or your household members.
-
Consider Combo Functionality
Determine if you need a shower and tub combination. The MONTECARLO 59" Combo Tub integrates a shower head and soaking basin in one unit. This is perfect for compact bathrooms where space is at a premium. It stands 88.6 inches tall and offers hydrotherapy and heating features. If you already have a separate shower, a standalone soaking tub like the 71" model may be better. Choose the combo unit only if you need dual functionality in a single footprint.
-
Review Weight and Support
Check the weight of the tub for floor support. The MONTECARLO 59" Combo Tub weighs 250 pounds, making it the heaviest option. The 71" Double Whirlpool Tub weighs 220 pounds. The 36.5" Walk-in Whirlpool is the lightest at 132 pounds. Heavier units may require reinforced flooring or additional structural support. Ensure your bathroom floor can handle the combined weight of the tub and water. Lighter models are easier to install but may offer less stability during use.
