Who it fits

Key specs explained for you

Type: freestanding soaking tub

This tub sits independently on your floor rather than being built into a wall or deck. You gain flexibility in placement, which is useful if you are remodeling or have an open bathroom layout. Freestanding designs often serve as a visual focal point. You should ensure your floor can support the weight and that plumbing access is available near the chosen spot for installation.

Length: 43 inches

This length classifies the tub as a compact option suitable for smaller bathrooms. It provides enough room for most adults to soak comfortably without dominating the room. If your bathroom has tight clearance or limited square footage, this size helps you maintain a spacious feel. Larger soaking tubs often exceed 60 inches, so this is a space-saving alternative for cozy layouts.

Material: acrylic

Acrylic is a durable, lightweight plastic that retains heat well during your soak. It is easy to clean with mild soap and resists stains better than many other materials. The smooth surface prevents dirt from sticking, making maintenance simple. You benefit from a material that balances affordability with longevity, though it may require more care than cast iron to avoid scratches.

Weight: 108 pounds

This weight indicates a relatively light structure, which simplifies handling and installation. You will not need heavy-duty structural reinforcement for most standard bathroom floors. The lighter mass also makes it easier to move or adjust during the setup process. Compare this to cast iron tubs, which can weigh over 150 pounds, to see the difference in handling effort.

Design and build details

According to the listing, this tub is crafted from acrylic. The material is described as top-tier and resistant to scratches and stains. This finish, listed as Gloss White, reflects light and keeps the surface smooth. Dirt does not hide in the texture, so you can wipe it down easily. The material choice supports a low-maintenance routine for your bathroom.

The footprint measures 43 inches in length and 28 inches in width. The height is 25 inches. The overall weight is 108 pounds. This compact size fits into smaller rooms or tight corners. The freestanding mount type means it sits on your floor without wall support. You can place it in the center of a spacious room or against a wall in a tighter layout. The lightweight construction suggests that installation may be simpler, as it does not require heavy structural reinforcement.

The rectangular shape offers clean lines. This silhouette saves space compared to deeper, bulkier designs. The listing notes that this design maximizes comfort without taking up excessive floor area. You get a soaking tub that fits into cozy bathrooms. The chrome drain is included in the title, though the specs focus on the tub body. The smooth acrylic surface ensures that cleaning remains straightforward. You do not need special tools to maintain the finish. This build style suits those who want a modern look without complex installation.

Setup and everyday use

The listing notes that this tub has a lightweight construction, weighing 108 pounds. This lower weight can make the initial placement easier for you. Because it is a freestanding soaking tub, you do not need to build a deck or surround. You simply place it on a flat, level floor. The straightforward design is said to facilitate easy installation. This may help reduce labor costs if you hire a professional. The acrylic material is smooth, which aids in daily maintenance. Dirt and grime do not hide in complex textures. You can wipe it down to keep it clean. The Gloss White finish reflects light, which may help you see spots more easily. You should check the drain location before final positioning. The tub is 43 inches long and 28 inches wide. Ensure your bathroom floor can support the weight when filled with water. Acrylic is generally durable and resistant to scratches. This means you can use it regularly without worrying about surface damage from normal use. The compact 43-inch size fits into smaller spaces. This makes it a practical choice for cozy bathrooms. You gain flexibility in placement since it is not built into a wall. This is useful if you are remodeling or have an open layout. The material is easy to clean, allowing for simple upkeep. You can maintain its shiny appearance with basic wiping. The design is space-saving, so it does not overwhelm a small room. You can create a relaxing spot without sacrificing floor space.

What You Need Before Buying

Owning this compact acrylic tub requires planning for your plumbing and floor load. Because it is a freestanding soaking tub, you must ensure your bathroom floor can support the filled weight. The listing notes a 108-pound empty weight, but water adds significant mass. You should verify your drain compatibility, as standard freestanding tubs often need specific tailpieces or waste kits not always included. Maintenance is straightforward; the gloss white acrylic surface wipes clean easily, resisting stains and scratches as described. This model fits best in small spaces where a 43-inch length and 28-inch width leave room for movement. It suits those prioritizing space efficiency over deep immersion. If you need a larger soaking capacity, other options in this guide offer greater dimensions. Check your shower curtain clearance and faucet height before finalizing your purchase to ensure a functional setup.

Check before you buy

• Verify floor load capacity for filled water weight
• Check drain tailpiece compatibility with your plumbing
• Measure bathroom clearance for the 43-inch length
• Confirm faucet height matches tub rim
