Who it fits

Key specs explained for this tub

Type: Walk-In Tub

This design features a watertight door that seals before filling. You step in directly rather than climbing over a high rim. This entry method reduces the risk of slipping or losing balance. It is ideal for users with limited mobility or balance issues. The door allows for easy access without lifting legs high, making daily bathing safer and more convenient for many homeowners.

Jet Type: Air + Hydro

This combination provides two distinct massage sensations. Hydro jets use water pressure for targeted muscle relief. Air jets use air bubbles for a broader, softer massage. Having both allows you to adjust intensity based on your needs. You can use hydro for deep tissue work or air for gentle relaxation. This dual system offers versatility that single-jet tubs cannot match.

Length: 66 inches

This length provides ample space for your body. You can stretch out fully without your knees pressing against the front wall. It accommodates taller users comfortably. The extra length also allows for better positioning relative to the jets. When comparing soaking tubs, this size ensures a more luxurious experience than shorter models, which may feel cramped for average to tall adults.

Width: 33 inches

This width offers a generous seating area. You have room to shift positions without feeling confined. The extra space improves comfort during long soaks. It also aids in entering and exiting the tub safely. When shopping, compare this to narrower models that may restrict movement. A wider basin supports better posture and reduces the feeling of being squeezed during use.

Design and Build Details

According to the listing, this walk-in tub measures 66 inches in length and 33 inches in width. The overall height is 40 inches, and the unit weighs 271 pounds. This substantial weight suggests a heavy-duty construction that requires a sturdy floor. The spacious interior provides ample room for movement. You will not feel cramped when entering or settling into the seat. The left-side door configuration is standard for specific bathroom layouts, so you must verify your door placement before purchasing.

The layout features a 29-inch extra-wide seat with a heated backrest. This design allows for comfortable reclining during long soaks. The heated seat adds a layer of comfort, particularly in cooler rooms. Control options are varied and accessible. You can adjust the hydro massage using an intensity dial, while the air massage uses a three-speed variable push control. Independent foot and calf jets have their own pump, letting you target lower legs without filling the tub to the brim. Dual drains with easy-turn levers ensure quick water removal.

The finish includes a heated seat option, which is noted in the product color specification. The faucet fills water at up to 18 gallons per minute, helping you fill the tub efficiently. The combination of air and hydro jets provides distinct massage experiences. You can choose between the gentle puff of air or the targeted pressure of hydro jets. This versatility allows you to customize your soak based on your muscle tension and comfort needs. The built-in ozone sterilization and auto-purge features help maintain hygiene between uses without requiring manual cleaning of the internal systems.

Setup and daily operation guide

Installation requires a sturdy floor to support the 271-pound unit. You will need to connect the Ella 5 Piece Fast-Fill Faucet, which delivers water at up to 18 gallons per minute. This high flow rate means the tub fills quickly, but you should ensure your plumbing can handle that volume.

The left-side door design dictates your bathroom layout. You must plan your entry path to accommodate the door swing and the 33-inch width. The 66-inch length requires adequate space along the wall for full immersion.

Daily use begins with selecting your massage type. The air massage system uses 16 jets and a 3-speed variable push control. You can also use the auto purge function to clean the air lines after use. For hydrotherapy, the 13 fixed jets offer adjustable intensity via an in-line dial. The system includes an in-line water heater and ozone sterilization to maintain water quality.

A key feature for daily comfort is the independent foot massage. It includes four foot and two calf jets with their own pump. You can fill the tub only to seat level, saving water and time. The dual drain technology features two individually controlled 2-inch drains with easy-to-turn levers. This setup allows for rapid gravity-driven drainage through four 2-inch outlets. The heated seat and backrest provide consistent warmth during your soak. You simply adjust the jets and let the system handle the rest.

Before You Buy This Tub

This walk-in tub is a substantial addition to your bathroom. At 271 pounds, it requires a floor that can support the weight. You must verify your doorways and hallways are wide enough for delivery. The 33-inch width and 66-inch length demand ample space. Ensure your plumbing can handle the 18 GPM fill rate from the included faucet. The heated seat and backrest offer comfort, but check your electrical supply for the heated components. Maintenance involves using the ozone sterilization and auto purge features regularly. This model suits those who prioritize accessibility and massage therapy. It fits alongside other walk-in options if you need a watertight door. If you prefer a standard soaking tub, this unit may be too complex. Consider the dual drain technology for faster emptying. Verify the left-door configuration matches your bathroom layout. The independent foot massage is unique, but ensure you have the space for the full unit.

Check before you buy

• Check floor load capacity for the 271-pound unit
• Verify doorway width for delivery access
• Confirm electrical supply for heated seat
• Ensure plumbing handles 18 GPM fill rate
• Match left-door layout to bathroom design
