Who it fits
Good fit for
This tub suits users who want targeted relief for their legs without filling the entire basin. The independent foot massage pump allows you to soak your calves and feet while keeping the water level low. It is also ideal for those who value quick refill times, thanks to the 18 GPM faucet. The ozone system helps maintain hygiene between uses. If you need a left-opening door, this specific model fits your bathroom layout perfectly.
Who should skip it
You should look elsewhere if you require a right-side door. This specific listing is configured for left-side entry only. You can choose right-side options from the variations, but this exact SKU does not fit. Additionally, if you prefer a heated seat, you must select the specific variation that includes it. This base model does not list a heated seat in its features. The 36-inch height may also be too low for some users seeking a deeper soak.
Verdict: The Ella Ultimate offers a versatile massage experience with independent foot jets and fast filling. Choose the left-door version if that matches your bathroom layout.
Key specs for this walk-in tub
Length: 60 inches
This length allows you to stretch out fully while seated. It provides enough room for most adults to relax without feeling cramped. When comparing soaking tubs, check the interior length to ensure your legs fit comfortably. This dimension supports a standard reclining posture for deep soaking sessions.
Jet Type: Hydro massage and air massage
The tub uses two distinct systems. Hydro jets push water for deep tissue pressure, while air jets release bubbles for surface-level relaxation. This combination lets you choose between intense relief or gentle soothing. You can use one system or both together for a customizable experience depending on your muscle needs.
Independent foot massage includes 4 foot and 2 calf adjustable hydro jets
This feature targets only your lower legs and feet. You can fill the tub to seat level, saving water while still receiving a massage. The independent controls let you adjust intensity for your calves and feet separately. This is ideal if you want relief without submerging your entire body.
Color: White
White is a standard finish that matches most bathroom decor. It reflects light, making the space feel brighter and cleaner. This color shows water spots and soap scum more easily, requiring regular wiping to maintain appearance. Consider this if you prefer a classic look over colored alternatives.
Design and Build Details
According to the listing, this Ellas Bubbles model measures 30 by 60 inches with a height of 36 inches. The white finish is standard for this unit. It weighs 240 pounds. This substantial weight means you need a floor that can support the load when filled. The walk-in design includes a left door option, which affects how you enter and exit. You must choose the door side that matches your bathroom layout before purchasing.
The faucet system is a five-piece fast-fill unit with a chrome finish. It fills at up to 18 gallons per minute. The set includes a mounted faucet, a pull-out hand shower, and diverter levers. Two five-foot supply lines are included. This layout allows you to fill the tub quickly before soaking. The hand shower lets you rinse off or adjust water direction easily.
Controls are integrated into the tub walls. You get an intensity dial for hydro jets and a three-speed variable push control for air massage. An in-line water heater and ozone sterilization system are also part of the build. These features keep the water warm and the system clean. The LED chromatherapy lights add ambiance. They are powered and controlled via buttons. This design focuses on practical access and targeted massage without complex external interfaces.
Setup and Everyday Use Guide
Setting up this walk-in tub involves connecting the plumbing to the included five-piece fast-fill faucet system. The listing notes two five-foot long supply lines, which helps with positioning the faucet near your wall. You will mount the chrome-finish faucet, which features temperature and diverter levers, along with a pull-out multi-functional hand shower. The 18 GPM fill rate means the tub fills quickly, reducing the time you wait before soaking begins.
Daily use centers on the dual massage systems. The hydro massage section offers five adjustable and six fixed jets, controlled by an intensity dial. You can use the in-line water heater to maintain temperature during your soak. The ozone sterilization feature cleans the system and water, which is a practical detail for hygiene between uses.
Separately, the foot massage system operates independently. It includes four foot and two calf adjustable jets with its own pump and controls. This allows you to fill the tub only to seat level, saving water while still targeting your lower legs. The air massage system adds seventeen jets with a three-speed variable push control. An auto purge function cleans the air system after use.
The LED Chromatherapy lights add ambient color at the push of a button. You can choose left or right door configurations, or add a heated seat option if your bathroom layout requires it. The 36-inch height is standard, but a 38-inch variant exists for taller users. This setup supports easy entry and focused relaxation without complex adjustments.
Before You Buy This Walk-In Tub
Owning this Ellas Bubbles model requires planning for its 240-pound weight. Verify your bathroom floor can support this load before installation. The unit includes two five-foot supply lines, but you may need additional plumbing adapters to connect to your existing fixtures. Check your water pressure to ensure the fast-fill faucet operates efficiently, as it fills at up to 18 gallons per minute. Upkeep involves using the ozone sterilization and auto-purge features regularly to maintain hygiene. The LED chromatherapy adds ambiance, but ensure your electrical circuit can handle the extra load. This tub suits those prioritizing accessible entry and dual massage systems. If you prefer a standard soaking experience without jets, other options in this guide may be simpler. Always measure your doorways to ensure the tub fits through during delivery. The left or right door configuration must match your bathroom layout precisely to avoid installation issues.
Check before you buy
- Confirm your floor can support the 240-pound unit weight.
