Who it fits

Key specs explained

Type: freestanding

This tub stands independently on the floor rather than being attached to walls. You can place it in the center of a room or against a wall. This layout offers flexibility in bathroom design. It requires plumbing connections to the floor. This style suits buyers who want a focal point in their space.

Length: 55.1 inches

The tub measures just over four and a half feet long. This size accommodates most adults comfortably. It provides enough room to stretch out without requiring a massive bathroom footprint. You can fit this length in standard bathrooms. Compare this to smaller 47-inch models if space is tight.

Soaking Depth: 15 inches

The water fills to a depth of fifteen inches. This allows you to submerge your shoulders and back fully. Deep soaking promotes muscle relaxation and stress relief. You do not need a very tall tub to achieve this. This depth is ideal for those who prioritize immersion over surface area.

Material: acrylic

The shell is made of glossy white acrylic reinforced with fiberglass. This combination offers durability and resistance to cracking. The surface is easy to clean and maintains its shine. Acrylic retains heat well during your bath. This material is standard for modern soaking tubs and requires minimal maintenance.

Design and build details

The listing describes a glossy white acrylic shell reinforced with fiberglass. This composite material provides a high-gloss finish that resists household chemicals and cosmetic products. You can clean the surface easily without worrying about cracking. The material is lightweight, weighing 64 pounds, which simplifies handling during installation. Despite its light weight, the tub is built to last, as it is cUPC certified for safety and health protection.

In terms of layout, the tub measures 55.1 inches in length, 28 inches in width, and 22.8 inches in height. The 15-inch soaking depth allows for deep immersion. The interior features a sloped lumbar support for comfort. An integrated slotted overflow maintains a clean, minimalist look. The design includes adjustable leveling feet to stabilize the unit on any floor surface. You will need to connect plumbing to the drainpipes located on the inner sides.

The finish is described as rich with character due to the cast resin process. You can choose from various drain options, including brushed nickel, polished gold, matte black, white, chrome, or brushed gold. The listing states that the tub comes with a drain and overflow cover. Additional drain stoppers are sold separately. This flexibility lets you match the hardware to your existing bathroom fixtures. The freestanding style allows you to place the tub in the center of the room or against a wall, offering design flexibility.

Setup and everyday use guide

Setting up this freestanding tub begins with placing the unit on a level floor. The listing includes adjustable leveling feet to stabilize the tub on any surface. You should follow the illustrated guide for step-by-step installation. The tub weighs 64 pounds, making it manageable for positioning but requiring a sturdy floor. Plumbing connections are not included, so you must source the appropriate drainpipes. Plastic and brass drainpipes are stored on the inner sides of the bathtub for easy access. The unit comes with a drain and overflow cover. You can choose from seven additional drain stopper options sold separately to match your bathroom design. The integrated slotted overflow provides a clean look while preventing spills during deep soaks. Daily use involves filling the tub to its 15-inch soaking depth. The sloped lumbar support offers comfort while you settle in. The glossy white acrylic surface is easy to clean and resistant to household chemicals. You can maintain the high-gloss finish with regular wiping. The material is non-toxic and environmentally friendly. The cUPC certification ensures the product meets federal safety standards. You should contact the U.S.-based customer service team if you have questions about the installation process or need help selecting a drain stopper. The brushed nickel drain option provides a sleek contrast to the white shell. This setup process ensures the tub remains stable and functional for years.

Before you buy the FerdY Bali 55

You must verify your floor can support the 64-pound weight plus water. This freestanding tub requires a sturdy, level surface to prevent stress on the acrylic shell. The listing includes adjustable leveling feet, but you may need additional shims for uneven tiles. You will need to purchase a drain stopper separately, as the included drain and overflow cover do not stop water. Check your plumbing height to ensure the 22.8-inch or 23.6-inch model fits your space. The brushed nickel drain is just one of six available finishes. If you prefer matte black or polished gold, you must select the correct variation during checkout. Clean the glossy surface with non-abrasive cleaners to maintain the high-gloss finish. This tub suits those who prioritize deep soaking over compact footprints. It stands out among other soaking tubs for its sculpted curves and 15-inch depth. Ensure your bathroom layout allows for the 55.1-inch length and 28-inch width. This model is ideal for primary bathrooms where space permits a central placement.

Check before you buy

• Confirm your floor can hold 64 pounds plus water weight.
• Check if you need to buy a separate drain stopper.
• Verify your plumbing height matches the 22.8 or 23.6 inch model.
• Ensure your bathroom has space for the 55.1 inch length.
