Who it fits
Good fit for
You should choose this tub if you want a deep soak without needing a massive footprint. The 47-inch length fits standard bathroom layouts while still offering substantial capacity. The stone resin material appeals to those who want a high-end look that withstands daily wear. The ergonomic design suits individuals seeking better lumbar and head support during long baths. If you prefer a matte, non-slip surface over glossy finishes, this solid surface option provides a comfortable, hotel-like experience.
Who should skip it
You might want to look elsewhere if you need a faucet included, as this package does not contain one. The 136-pound weight requires a floor capable of supporting heavy loads. If you prefer a glossy, reflective surface, the matte white finish may not match your aesthetic. The 22.83-inch width is standard, so those needing extra-wide seating might find it restrictive. Additionally, if you are sensitive to the specific texture of stone resin, the solid surface material may feel different than traditional acrylic.
Verdict: This tub offers a durable, deep-soaking experience with a sophisticated matte finish. It is a solid choice for bathrooms that can support its weight and need a reliable, stain-resistant surface.
Key specs explained for this tub
Length: 47 inches
This length fits most standard bathrooms while offering ample space for stretching out. You get enough room to lie flat without your feet hitting the end. It is a mid-size option that balances footprint with comfort. If your bathroom is tight, measure your space carefully to ensure this 47-inch length fits comfortably alongside other fixtures.
Water Capacity: 65 gallon
A 65-gallon capacity holds a significant volume of water for a deep soak. This amount ensures you are fully submerged without needing to refill the tub frequently. It is suitable for adults who prefer long, relaxing baths. Compare this to smaller tubs that hold less water, as this size supports a consistent temperature throughout your soak.
Soaking Depth: 15 inches
A 15-inch soaking depth allows for full-body immersion, covering your torso and shoulders. This depth is key for relieving muscle tension and enjoying a true spa-like experience. It is deeper than many standard acrylic tubs, which often sit lower. This spec ensures you can relax completely without your neck remaining above the water line.
Material: stone resin
Stone resin combines natural minerals with resin for a durable, non-porous surface. This material resists stains, scratches, and chipping better than plain acrylic. It feels like natural stone but is lighter and easier to maintain. This construction ensures the tub remains robust against daily wear and tear, offering a long lifespan for your bathroom investment.
Design and Build Details
The tub is constructed from a stone resin composite. According to the listing, this material consists of sixty percent organic rock and forty percent high-tech resin. This blend creates a solid surface that is non-porous and resistant to stains and scratches. The one-piece molded design eliminates visible seams or joints. This seamless construction prevents dirt from accumulating in crevices and provides a smooth, continuous bathing surface. You do not need to worry about grout lines or weak points where materials meet.
The exterior dimensions are 47 inches long, 22.8 inches wide, and 24 inches high. The unit weighs 136 pounds. This substantial weight suggests the tub is stable and unlikely to shift during use. The matte white finish offers a slight silky texture. This no-slip surface enhances safety and contributes to a high-end appearance. The edge is extremely thin at 0.47 inches, which keeps the footprint compact despite the generous interior volume.
The oval shape supports natural body contours. You receive lumbar and head support designed for extended relaxation. The fade-resistant surface maintains its color under light exposure. The faucet is not included in the package. You will need to source your own fixtures to complete the installation. The freestanding style allows for flexible placement in your bathroom layout.
Setup and Everyday Use Guide
Setting up this freestanding tub requires careful planning due to its substantial weight. The listing specifies a weight of 136 pounds. This mass helps stabilize the unit on the floor but demands a sturdy subfloor. You must ensure your bathroom floor can support this load without flexing. The tub stands 24.01 inches tall with a width of 22.83 inches. You need to verify that your bathroom layout accommodates these exterior dimensions. The listing notes that the faucet is not included. You will need to source a compatible deck-mounted or freestanding faucet separately. Installation involves positioning the tub and connecting your existing plumbing. The seamless one-piece construction simplifies cleaning but requires precise placement during setup. Daily use relies on the tub’s ergonomic design. The 15-inch soaking depth allows for deep immersion. This depth covers most of your body when seated. The matte white finish provides a non-slip surface. This texture offers better traction than glossy finishes. You benefit from the smooth, silky texture that resists staining. The solid surface material does not yellow or fade with light exposure. This means the appearance remains consistent over time. The thin edge design adds a modern look but requires gentle handling. You should avoid placing sharp objects on the rim. The oval shape supports natural body contours. This design promotes relaxation during long soaks. The 65-gallon capacity fills efficiently with standard home water pressure. You can enjoy a full soak without waiting excessively for the tub to fill. The non-porous surface prevents water absorption. This feature ensures hygiene and reduces the need for harsh cleaning chemicals. Routine maintenance involves wiping the surface with mild soap. The durability of the stone resin composite ensures long-term reliability.
Before You Buy This Tub
You need to plan for the faucet separately. The listing confirms the faucet is not included. You must choose a deck-mounted or freestanding filler that matches your matte white finish. Check your plumbing height to ensure compatibility with the 24-inch exterior height. The 65-gallon water capacity requires a stable floor. Verify your subfloor can support the 136-pound empty weight plus water. Upkeep is simple. The non-porous surface resists stains and does not yellow. Wipe it with mild soap to maintain the no-slip matte texture. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could dull the silky feel. This oval tub suits those seeking deep immersion in a mid-size footprint. It fits well if you prioritize durability and a seamless one-piece design over traditional acrylic options. Ensure your bathroom layout allows for the 47-inch length and 22.8-inch width. This model stands out for its stone resin construction and ergonomic contours. It is a practical choice for long soaks without complex installation requirements.
