Who it fits
Good fit for
This faucet suits buyers who want a durable, floor-mounted fixture for a freestanding tub. The solid brass body ensures longevity against daily wear. The high flow rate is ideal for those who dislike waiting for a deep soak. The swivel spout and included hand shower add versatility for rinsing the tub or yourself. If you prefer a minimalist single-handle design with a luxury gold finish, this model fits your space and style needs well.
Who should skip it
Skip this option if you need a wall-mounted installation, as this unit is strictly floor-mounted. It is not suitable for low-ceiling bathrooms due to its high arc design. If you prefer a traditional two-handle setup for precise temperature control, the single handle may feel less intuitive. Additionally, if you do not want a handheld shower attachment included in your fixture, you will need to look at other models that offer spout-only configurations without the extra hose and wand.
Verdict: The Pafilly Brushed Gold Freestanding Tub Filler offers a robust, high-flow solution for floor-mounted installations. Its solid brass build and versatile spout make it a practical choice for modern bathrooms.
Key specs explained
Flow Rate: 6 GPM
This rating indicates the faucet delivers six gallons of water per minute. You will fill your soaking tub faster than with lower-flow models. This high volume supports a luxurious bath experience. If you prefer a quick fill for daily use, this spec meets that need. Compare this against standard 2.2 GPM fixtures to see the difference in fill time.
Mount Type: floor mounted
The faucet stands directly on the bathroom floor rather than attaching to the wall. This design offers flexibility in tub placement since it does not require nearby plumbing walls. You can position the tub freely in your space. This option suits modern freestanding tubs where wall access is limited or desired.
Handle Type: single handle
One lever controls both water temperature and flow volume. You can adjust settings with a single hand, which is convenient when holding a bath accessory. This design simplifies operation compared to dual-knob setups. It reduces the learning curve for new users and allows for quick temperature changes during your bath routine.
Construction Material: solid brass
The internal components are made from solid brass rather than plastic or thin metals. This material resists corrosion and tarnish over time, ensuring durability. You benefit from a longer-lasting fixture that maintains structural integrity. When shopping, compare this to zinc or alloy bodies to understand the difference in longevity and weight.
Design and Build Details
According to the listing, the Pafilly Brushed Gold Freestanding Tub Filler is constructed from solid brass. This material choice helps resist tarnish and corrosion during daily use. The surface features a multi-layer electroplating process that creates a bright, smooth, and durable brushed gold finish. You get a high arc spout design that provides ample clearance for filling larger soaking tubs. The faucet body weighs 10.1 pounds, offering a sense of stability on the floor. Its dimensions are listed as 1 inch in width, height, and length, though variations exist for height up to 31.2 inches depending on the specific set you choose.
The layout centers around a single handle control. This design allows you to adjust both flow rate and water temperature with one hand. A diverting valve knob lets you switch between the main spout and the handheld shower head in one second. The handheld wand includes 49 nozzles and connects via a 59-inch double spiral stainless steel hose. This hose length gives you flexibility for rinsing the tub or washing off after a bath. The unit mounts directly to the floor, requiring the included mounting hardware and base cover for installation. This freestanding approach keeps the faucet independent of the tub walls, making it suitable for standalone soaking tubs. The 6 GPM flow rate ensures rapid filling, which is practical for deep tubs where volume matters. The 360-degree swivel capability adds versatility for different tub positions.
Setup And Everyday Use
Installation requires a floor-mounted setup. The listing includes mounting hardware and an instruction manual to guide the process. You will connect the brass faucet tube to the main body. The kit also provides a 3/8-inch cold and hot hose for water supply. A base cover hides the connection points for a clean look. A hose extension is included to manage the shower hose routing.

Switching between the main spout and the hand shower is simple. You use the diverting valve knob to change modes in one second. The handheld shower features 49 nozzles that are designed to resist clogging. It connects via a 59-inch double spiral stainless steel hose. This length allows you to rinse the tub interior or rinse off after bathing. The spout swivels 360 degrees. This rotation helps you direct water precisely where you need it. The solid brass construction and electroplated finish ensure the fixture remains durable and smooth during regular use. You get a reliable tool for both filling and rinsing tasks.
Verify Fit And Maintenance Needs
Before you buy, verify your plumbing compatibility. This floor-mounted unit requires specific rough-in dimensions. You must ensure your existing water lines align with the included 3/8-inch hoses. Check your floor space for the base cover and mounting hardware. The solid brass construction demands regular cleaning to maintain the brushed gold finish. Use mild soap and a soft cloth to avoid scratching the electroplated surface. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could dull the smooth appearance. This faucet pairs best with deep soaking tubs that benefit from its six gallons per minute flow rate. If you have a smaller or shallower tub, the high arc spout might splash excessively. Consider your bathing habits. Do you prefer quick fills or long soaks? The single handle simplifies temperature adjustments, which is useful for frequent users. Review other freestanding options on the page. Compare their flow rates and materials. This model suits those seeking durability and a high-volume fill. It may not fit minimalist setups due to its substantial brass build.
Check before you buy
