The 59-inch length suits most standard bathrooms. The acrylic material is easy to clean and maintain. If you like the oil-rubbed bronze finish, this model offers it directly. This setup works well for master baths or guest bathrooms where style matters. It is also good for renters who want a removable freestanding unit.

You might want to look elsewhere if you prefer a modern, low-profile design. This tub has a traditional clawfoot silhouette that may not fit minimalist spaces. If you do not want a faucet included, you will need to return or resell the included fixture. The package only offers one height option. You cannot choose a different depth for your space. Verdict: This is a solid choice for those wanting a complete, classic clawfoot tub setup. The included hardware saves time and ensures a matching look.
Key specs explained
Type: clawfoot
This design features four legs that elevate the tub above the floor. You will need space around the base for cleaning and plumbing access. This style suits bathrooms where you want a standalone visual anchor. It differs from built-in tubs that sit flush against walls. Check your floor level to ensure the feet rest evenly.
Length: 59 inches
The tub extends nearly five feet along the wall. This length accommodates most adult body sizes for full immersion. You can stretch out comfortably without your head hanging over the edge. Compare this to shorter 48-inch models if you have limited space. Ensure your bathroom width allows for this horizontal footprint.
Material: acrylic
The shell is made from high-gloss acrylic reinforced with resin and fiberglass. This material retains heat better than metal or stone. It feels smooth to the touch and resists stains and scratches. You benefit from easy cleaning with mild soap. Acrylic is lighter than cast iron, simplifying installation on standard floors.
Mount Type: freestanding
The tub stands alone without attaching to walls or cabinets. You can place it in the center of the room or against a wall. This offers flexible layout options for your bathroom design. Plumbing connections must be accessible from the floor or a nearby wall. This style requires more floor space than alcove installations.
Design and build details
According to the listing, the Woodbridge BTA1522 is constructed from 100% high gloss white LUCITE acrylic. This material is reinforced with ASHLAND resin and fiberglass. This combination aims to provide a durable shell that resists stains and scratches. The surface maintains a high gloss finish, which simplifies cleaning and maintenance for you.
The tub measures 59 inches in length, 29.9 inches in width, and 30.3 inches in height. The package includes the white clawfoot tub along with oil rubbed bronze feet. It also comes with a brass drain and overflow in the same oil rubbed bronze finish. The total package weight is 129 pounds. This substantial weight suggests the unit requires a floor capable of supporting the load. The freestanding mount type means you do not need surrounding cabinetry or built-in surrounds.
The design features gently sloping lines intended to follow the natural curves of your body. This layout creates a slipper style that offers comfort during soaking. The included oil rubbed bronze faucet and drain complete the aesthetic. You can choose from various finish options if the bronze does not match your decor. The all-inclusive package simplifies installation by providing the necessary hardware in one box. This setup suits bathrooms where you want a standalone visual anchor without complex built-in structures.
Setup and everyday use guide
This package arrives as an all-inclusive unit. You receive the white clawfoot tub, oil rubbed bronze feet, brass drain and overflow, and a freestanding faucet. The listing confirms these components are included in one box. This simplifies initial assembly because you do not need to source separate hardware. The tub weighs 129 pounds. This weight suggests it is stable once positioned. However, you must ensure your floor can support this load. The freestanding faucet connects to your home water supply. You will need access to the plumbing lines behind or near the tub’s location. The unit measures 59 inches long and 29.9 inches wide. This footprint requires a dedicated area in your bathroom. You must leave space around the base for cleaning and maintenance. The oil rubbed bronze finish on the feet and drain adds a vintage look. Daily use involves filling the tub with water. The acrylic surface is described as easy to clean. It resists stains and scratches. You can wipe it down after use. The gentle sloping lines follow body curves. This design aims to provide comfort during soaking. The high gloss surface maintains its appearance with regular care. You do not need special products to keep it shiny. The freestanding design allows you to move the unit if needed, though the weight makes this difficult. Ensure the faucet aligns with your existing water lines. The package includes a user manual for guidance. This setup process is straightforward if you have the necessary plumbing connections ready.
Check Floor Load and Space
Before you buy this Woodbridge BTA1522, verify your floor can support its weight. The listing states the package weighs 129 pounds. You must ensure your subfloor is reinforced to handle this load safely. Since this is a freestanding clawfoot model, you need adequate clearance around the base for plumbing access and cleaning. Check that your bathroom layout accommodates the 59-inch length and 29.9-inch width. You will also need to confirm that your existing water supply lines match the freestanding faucet included in the package. The oil rubbed bronze finish requires regular wiping to prevent water spots. This all-inclusive package simplifies sourcing parts, but you should still inspect your drain configuration. Compare this option against other soaking tubs in the 1 selection. If you prefer a standalone piece with integrated hardware, this unit offers a complete solution. However, if you already own a faucet, you might save space by choosing a tub-only version. Always measure your doorways to ensure the 60-inch package fits through.
