How the alternatives compare
WOODBRIDGE 59" Acrylic Clawfoot Tub
This model keeps the same 59-inch length and acrylic shell as the original, but swaps polished gold feet for oil rubbed bronze hardware. You get the same 28.4-inch width and 29.5-inch height, maintaining that classic clawfoot silhouette. The primary difference is the finish on the legs and drain, which offers a darker, vintage aesthetic rather than the bright metallic look of the original. It does not include a faucet, so you must source one separately. This option suits you if you prefer the subdued tone of bronze over gold and want to customize your plumbing fixtures independently.
Fine Fixtures 60" Black Alcove Tub
This tub shifts from a freestanding clawfoot design to an alcove installation. It is one inch longer at 60 inches and slightly wider at 30 inches, but significantly shorter in height at 21.5 inches. You give up the elevated clawfoot look and the ability to place it anywhere in the room. In exchange, you gain adjustable legs and a ledge for easier integration into standard bathroom layouts. The black acrylic finish remains consistent with the original. This alternative is best for you if space constraints or installation requirements make a freestanding unit impractical, and you prioritize a lower profile over dramatic elevation.
WOODBRIDGE 67" Acrylic Clawfoot Tub
This option provides a substantial increase in length, measuring 67 inches compared to the original 59 inches. The width also expands to 29.9 inches, and the height rises to 30.5 inches. The finish is matte black rather than the high-gloss black of the original, which may appeal to those seeking a modern, non-reflective surface. Like the original, it uses reinforced acrylic and features clawfoot mounting. It does not include a faucet in the base specifications provided. This tub is ideal for you if you have a large bathroom and need extra length for full-body immersion, prioritizing volume and a contemporary matte aesthetic over the standard glossy finish.
WOODBRIDGE 59" Matte Black Acrylic Tub
This model matches the original in length at 59 inches and width at 28.4 inches, but it features a matte black finish instead of the original high-gloss black. The height remains 29.5 inches. It retains the clawfoot mounting style and acrylic construction. The key difference is the surface texture and hardware finish, which are both matte black. This creates a more uniform, dark look throughout the tub. It does not include a faucet. This alternative is suitable for you if you prefer a non-reflective, modern aesthetic and want the hardware to blend seamlessly with the tub shell rather than contrast with it.
Woodbridge 59" Acrylic Clawfoot Tub
This tub maintains the 59-inch length but increases the width to 29.9 inches and the height to 30.3 inches. The finish shifts to polished gold hardware, matching the original aesthetic but with a slightly different dimensional profile. It uses the same acrylic material and clawfoot design. The wider basin may offer more lateral space for soaking. It does not include a faucet. This option is best for you if you want a slightly more spacious interior footprint while keeping the classic polished gold look. The increased width and height provide a different soaking experience compared to the narrower, standard-height original.
WOODBRIDGE 59" Acrylic Clawfoot Tub
This model keeps the 59-inch length, 28.4-inch width, and 29.5-inch height of the original. The primary difference is the hardware finish, which is polished chrome rather than polished gold. The tub shell remains high-gloss black acrylic with clawfoot mounting. Chrome hardware offers a cooler, silver-toned contrast compared to the warm gold of the original. It does not include a faucet. This alternative is ideal for you if you prefer a modern, silver-toned aesthetic over the traditional gold look. The dimensions and material quality remain consistent, allowing you to change the visual style without altering the tub's physical footprint or capacity.
